Police Chase of the Week

Man Drinks Beer, Throws Clothes During Chase
(CBS) LOS ANGELES Police arrested a man after he led them on a three-hour- plus chase around Southern California, throwing clothes, trash and two wallets out of the car, according to authorities.

Upland police said they tried to stop, Michael David Lopez, 32, for an unspecified vehicle code violation when he fled, leading them on a chase through three counties, ending about 2:25 a.m. in North Hollywood, CHP Officer Alex Gonzalez said.
